Golfers get Chipper at Reach for the Future Outing
As the summer days dwindled to a precious few, El Valor managed to capture one of its last hot sunny afternoons on September 13, 2005, where one hundred golfers enjoyed 18 holes of golf at El Valor's Reach for the Future Golf Outing. The Reach for the Future Golf Outing is one of El Valor's largest fundraisers in support of programs for infants, toddlers, youth, people with disabilities and their families. "The more work we do, the more we discover that we are only scratching the surface of an iceberg of need," stated Vincent Allocco, President of El Valor. "We are grateful to all our sponsors who made this event a success."
Reach for the Future Chairman, Saul Robles of LaSalle Bank stated, "Every child deserves the chance to get the best start in life by ensuring they are in quality early childhood programs; every youth deserves the chance to feel good about themselves and succeed academically; people with disabilities deserve to be part of our communities; families need to be supported during difficult circumstances; and Hispanic leadership needs to be developed. We want to help El Valor continue to offer programs that give families support with respect and dignity. This is what El Valor is about."
The El Valor Family would like to thank LaSalle Bank, Southwest Airlines, ComEd/Exelon, MetLife, Microsoft, V&M Technicentro, Chicago Latino Network, Valor Financial Services and Cavero Medical Group for their sponsorships. We also want to thank Anheuser-Busch, Chicago Fire, Chicago White Sox, Chivas USA, Integrated Marketing Solutions, Kenny Construction Company, Museums Chicago, Nordstrom, Stamp Graphics, Univision Radio, Love FM, Christopher Gonzalez, and Salvatore Peri, for contributing to the success of the Reach for the Future Golf Outing.
